Preparation of RockThings required several months of staring at photos or stones until unexpected things appeared.  

Eventually there were over 60 stone treasures which I found in Garden of the Gods. Below are two examples:

Geronimo - Fierce defender of Chiricahua Apache territory in modern-day southwestern New Mexico.  

Viking - The horns on his helmet appear more distinct in the morning sun.
